A Taller Triple Rate Rear Lift Built for Bigger Tires and Heavier Builds
The RK02002P rear coil spring set gives the four door Jeep Wrangler JKU a 3.5 inch rear lift using Rock Krawler’s triple rate coil design. Three progressive spring rates work together to maximize suspension travel and resist unseating at full droop, while still delivering a controlled ride on the street. RK02002P is a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory rear coils and is a popular choice for JKU builds running larger tires and rear bumpers.

FAQ
What is the RK02002P?
The RK02002P is a Rock Krawler triple rate rear coil spring set for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JKU that provides a 3.5 inch rear lift. It is sold as a pair and bolts into the factory rear coil location.
What is the difference between RK02002P and RK03101P?
RK02002P provides a taller 3.5 inch rear lift while RK03101P provides a 2.5 inch rear lift. Both use the same triple rate coil design but differ in free length and spring rate progression.
Does RK02002P fit the two door JK Wrangler?
RK02002P is calibrated for the four door JKU. Two door JK Wranglers running a comparable ride height typically use a different part number due to the shorter wheelbase and weight distribution.
Do I need correction wedges with RK02002P?
If your JKU does not already have rear coil correction wedges installed, Rock Krawler recommends adding part RK02659 alongside RK02002P for proper spring seating.
What does triple rate mean for RK02002P?
Triple rate means RK02002P combines three distinct spring rate zones in one coil, giving a soft initial rate for ride comfort, a middle rate for handling, and a firm rate to resist bottoming out.
What is the warranty on RK02002P?
RK02002P carries Rock Krawler’s 5-year warranty against fracture when properly installed, with a receipt and installation photos kept on file.
Is RK02002P made in the USA?
Yes, RK02002P is manufactured in the USA as part of Rock Krawler’s domestic coil spring production.
Is RK02002P a good match for larger tires?
Yes, the 3.5 inch lift of RK02002P is commonly paired with 35 to 37 inch tire setups on JKU builds that need the extra clearance.
Can RK02002P be installed without a spring compressor?
A spring compressor or shop press makes installation of RK02002P significantly safer and easier, though experienced installers can complete the swap with careful axle support alone.
Install Instructions
