Bundle comes complete with cut corner tray, designpacket with full color photos, patterns and instructions for the design shown. Thecut corner tray has been one of Jo Sonja’s favorite pieces for decades. Originally made from steel and tin but we have had this tray beautifully reproduced in alder and baltic birch. All of the moldings are solid alder and the floor of the tray is birch ply. The tray is wonderfully lightweight at just 10 ounces and yet is a full 17″ long by 11″ wide.
A contemporary treatment of an old Penn Dutch idea, hodgepodge combines stylized fruits and vegetable forms with traditional acanthus leaves. Decorative borders and a little faux finish that very simply emulate the old crystallized insets on traditional country tin pieces completes the decorative look in a new updated expression.
