Built for the job.

Fusor® 121/124 flexible foam is a two-component, urethane-based foam used for sound deadening and sealing/filling of voids in the vehicle where air and wind noise would enter the cabin of the vehicle, along with the gas tank filler area.

Fusor® 124 is a two-part super fast flexible foam designed for rapid structural repairs and fill applications in automotive bodywork. The low-viscosity mixture expands to seal gaps, bond panels, and provide a durable, resilient substrate ready for downstream finishing.

At 70 °F (21 °C) the formulation offers a work time of only 10 seconds and reaches full cure in 1 hour, minimizing shop turnaround. It adheres effectively to ABS, aluminum, OEM-coated surfaces, primer, and steel, delivering consistent coverage without sagging. The fast flash time supports high-volume production while maintaining flexibility after cure.

Because the product is classified as “Danger” with acute toxicity, carcinogenicity, and skin corrosivity hazards, technicians must wear eye protection, chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, and a respirator in well-ventilated areas. Follow standard first-aid procedures for inhalation, skin, eye, or ingestion exposure.

Why Pros Choose LORD Fusor Adhesives 2-Part, Super Fast

  • Versatile expands to ten times its size, retains memory with no shrinkage
  • Excellent appearance matches OEM sound deadening foams
  • Environmentally resistant will not absorb moisture or cause corrosion

How to Use

For sound deadening, sealing/filling of door skins to crash bar, hood panel to supports, trunk panel to supports and gas tank filler area

  1. Clean the substrate (ABS, aluminum, OEM, primer-coated steel) to remove oil, dust, and loose material; ensure a dry surface.
  2. Dispense equal amounts of the two cartridge components into a clean mixing cup and stir until a uniform black foam is achieved. The mixture must be used within the 10-second work time at 70 °F (21 °C).
  3. Apply the mixed foam in a single, continuous coat to the prepared area using a suitable applicator (e.g., spatula or dispensing tip). Do not exceed the 10-second working window.
  4. Allow the foam to cure for 1 hour at 70 °F (21 °C) before handling or applying additional layers.
  5. If removal of excess material is required, clean uncured foam with a compatible solvent such as acetone; cured foam must be mechanically removed.
