- Custom TIR Optics. The SSC1’s custom-molded TIR optic serves as both the optical element & the outer lens — eliminating the ~10% light loss of standard outer-lens designs. Every lumen from the LED is collected & directed precisely on target, dramatically reducing glare while maximizing intensity versus reflector-based or basic-lens competitors.
- Flood Beam Pattern. The Flood beam uses pillow optics on the outer TIR lens to produce a true optically designed 50°×50° spread — uniform, even illumination without the hot spots of a diffused spotlight. Perfect for backup lights, scene lighting, truck beds, & roof racks.
- Yellow Output. Selective yellow at 3000K scatters less in rain, fog, & dust than white light, improving visibility where it matters most in poor weather while adding a distinctive look on or off road.
